When you switch the remote over to this mode pressing specifc buttons will issue specific commands that only go to input 1 or hdmi or component or whatever you choose.

For instance you want the HDMI command
push the HDMI button you have on your Pronto and it will let you know to give it the command from the remote your teaching it from.

Make sure the mits remote is in the 0-9-0 mode
press device while pointing it away from the Pronto sensor, then press the SQV button as you face it into the bottom of the Pronto....It doesnt have to be instantaneous after the device button but within a couple of seconds.

Pushing the Device button on the Misubishi toggles the remote to fire out a discrete for an input and in this case you pressed SQV which issues the HDMI input.

The Pronto will learn that input command into that button.

Repeat this for the commands of component, video 1/input 1 etc.

When finished return the mits remote to 000 mode then your back to normal

If this confuses you then try it without the learning part and just press these buttons while facing the TV. Set the code at 0-9-0 then press Device then SQV....see what happened...now just press SQV and see what happens....hopefully nothing

The Device button is a dicrete for INPUT but is completed by the additional press of SQV or 1,2,3 etc. The Device button actually does nothing but let the remote know that the following button is for a discrete input....

Man all this typing on Sunday is killing me
