I tried that (based on reading another of your replies (thank you)) and found weird numbers, this is what I found in total at the bottom of the screen: VER: T-MLB50NUS-1030.

So if the last three numbers should be 2XX, am I in real trouble?

And here's another question... I think I have the last HLN437W in the city from Circuit City where I bought it. 3 weeks in I had to have the bulb replaced. After much discussion with the CC people I was given another month return with no questions asked option. That ends very soon.

Do you think I should just return it? One of my problems though is that space. They, Samsung, will no longer make the 43 inch version (I'm told), so I don't believe the newer 46 inch will fit, plus it's about $1000 more. I paid $2400.

Any more thoughts would be appreciated.
