I need help with using the Hex codes for the Sony VPL-CX5 Remote Commander found here: [Link: remotecentral.com]

My friend's projector RC was lost & the replacement has been difficult to find in these location where we are.

Can I use these IR codes to program a off the shelf Universal Remote Controller?
What would I need to do that?

Can a normal URC intended for replacing RCs of domestic devices be programmed using a computer with some software?

Please advice me as I'm new to this.
