The codes ar in a pronto format, for example RC5 3.04
switches directly to AV1.

That's not really a "Pronto" format. It means RC5 protocol, system 3, command 4.

There is nothing specific to a Pronto about that way of specifying that TV signal.

I did confirm from several sources that is correct for the AV1 function.

I have an Philips SBC RU
880 where I can input codes from 000 to 255. When this
works, I copy the functions from the SBC to the MX500.
So my question: Does anoybody know, how I can convert
the pronto codes?

I didn't know anything about the RU880, so I downloaded a pdf of its user manual.

In section 2.5.1 it describes using 3-digit codes from a table by brand. Is that what you mean by the "000 to 255"?

If so, there is no way to translate the discrete code info. Probably there is no way at all to get the RU880 to originate the signal you want. I think only OneForAll brand remotes and PC-programmable remotes can originate signals that weren't in their preprogrammed library.

If there is a way (that I didn't see in the documentation) to enter a 000 to 255 code, that seems to be the command code of a specific function (rather than an index into the built-in library), give more details. Maybe I might know how to make use of it.
