Yes I was talking about the URC-7800. None of the device codes I have found for it, including searching has any effect on the Sony receiver. I was thinking about getting a new OFA that will have newer IR codes, but since I have a Pronto at my disposal, why spend the money.

What I meant about device 151 was the device= in the .irp file for creating a .hex. I saw a reply to another question about an older ES receiver in the forum that had a hex file with device code 151 and function 46 and 47 (for discrete on/off)

I was going to tackle the JP1 cable, but it doesn't seem to be worth the time. I will try with the pronto and report back in a few days.
