Two things to check:
1) Try downloading my file for the 42PF9730A. See if any of those codes do anything. Note that last time I checked they only supported power and inputs, none of the other functions you're interested in.
2) Ensure you are running the latest firmware for the set. For some odd reason Philips has a history of incomplete/inoperable discrete codes in factory original firmware, but they're usually added later.
