In this thread [Link: remotecentral.com] the guy wants to convert a pronto discrete into a form that the Sony AX1400 can use. I have used a few programs to convert the discrete and each one tells me something different.
So far i have gotten Denon device 19, Proton device 2 OBC 6, kenwood and yamaha from this discrete

0000 006c 0000 0013 013e 00a1 0015 0015 0015 003f 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 00a1 0015 0015 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 03c2

Now there is this program in the files section "Sony PC Programmable Remote Format Generator" which can be used to create codes in a format the Sony can work with.
Not knowing enough about formats i am unsure what any of the above formats are whether they are NEC1, NEC2, pronto etc, but if i get the right decode then it would be easy.
