I've got an LG LCD model 52LG50 that I need discrete codes for. The on pages 127-128 owners manual [Link: us.lge.com] actually gives you all the discrete codes (as well as the RS-232 commands) which is impressive, but they give you the codes in a way that I don't know how to use them (I believe they use waveform codes).

Can anyone tell me how to convert these wave form codes to something I can use in another remote? If I can get any hex codes, RTI / CML data, pronto, etc. I'll be fine. I've found scattered info on older LG sets, but nothing that has all the inputs etc. that my TV has (HDMI 1-3 etc.).

PS: I've called LG support and they claim that the discrete IR codes in the owners manual are only used for service purposes and they can't help me.
