I have no clue what a "universal" code is.

For these signals there are two types of Pronto Hex that can represent the signals. Which you want might depend on what remote you want it for.

For some Pronto models with some versions of ProntoEdit, the short form is better. For some old Prontos and most non Pronto systems that use Pronto Hex, only the long form works. For most new versions of ProntoEdit, it doesn't matter which form you use.

The short form of the two signals is
