I recently switched from comcast dvr to the dish VIP722 and I'm wondering if I can tweak the dish remote like I did the comcast remote. Specifically, I would like to be able to set discrete on/off buttons for my av receiver (onkyo ht-r330) since the on and off buttons have separate IR codes. It was possible with the comcast remote. I'm wondering how much wiggle room I have with this new remote. The manual explains how to set the receiver to discrete on or off - but it doesn't explain how this might be done with other components.

Any help - or even pointing me to separate sites/forums where I might find answers - would really be appreciated.
