Hi ph3ng,

The playstation 3 does not have an IR receiver it uses Bluetooth.You will need to buy a IR remote or a IR receiver for it.There are many choice`s and they all have pro`s and con`s.Some will turn the playstation 3 ON and OFF some do not.
