Hex Code ................. Hex Equivalent?

Those Hex code consist of a two digit hex number that we call "device", a one digit Hex number that is "1" for Sharp and "2" for Denon and a two digit hex number that we call "function". For example Power On is device 11 hex, function 4A hex. Converting to decimal gives you device 17, function 74.

[Power On]
Hex Code ................. 11 14A

[Power Off]
Hex Code ................. 11 14B

[Input 1]
Hex Code ................. 01 132

Those commands were already given in post 1 this thread in Pronto Hex

I haven't been able to get MakeHex to work either.. I
don't know how to install or use it.. readme is a little
lacking with installation instructions..

You don't need much installation instructions, because all you need to do to "install" is unzip it.
The ReadMe does tell you how to run it. But if you don't read the ReadMe you will conclude you have installed it wrong and/or it doesn't work.

But you don't need MakeHex, because tgrugett already did it all for you.
