I have searched high and low for discrete power codes for my Akai plasma TV set. I have read numerous posts of people having luck with some samsung codesets and have tried many myself. I have even located the service mnaual without any luck. I have determined that the plasma panel is mfg by LG and is the LG50X2 plasma panel. The code I currently have only toggles the power.

I have learned that pressing the channel up button turns the TV set on and can be used as a discrete on button, but the input automatically goes to TV and I need it on Component 1.
