It works for my DVI, but I had to change it...
The default setting had my 880 trying to set DVI to "InputDvi3"... Once I changed it to "InputDVI", it now works fine...
You can find this on the Adjusting Setup: Inputs screen... I got there through the troubleshooting screen and selected the "my TV nerver goes to the right input" option... Eventually it shows how the inputs are mapped and lets you change them.
