Now the question is: How do I pick the final one?
I will request to my architect 4 sets of blueprints of the house that I will hand to them! I figured, after interviewing each one of them give them the general guideline and the drawings, I should be able to get the bids that will help me make a final decision!

you're on the right track... i'd start by not dealing with anyone who badmouths the competition- it's unprofessional (besides, you never know when you'll need the guy you just referred to as a doofus to bail you out on something!)... Also, do all the research you can on all the systems you want to install- knowing what you're getting yourself into makes everyone's jobs easier!

Someone once said "The customer is always right"...
Well, whoever said that is full of crap! An INFORMED customer is always right- an uninformed customer is someone who can (and WILL) be taken advantage of! Also, an informed customer gets stuff done right the first time, because they catch things the installer might miss (or might be taking a shortcut on... heh)

We can do it my way, or we can do it my way while I yell. The choice is yours.
