It is possible with Dish!
It just takes a bit of patience. First you need very high quality splitters, that are rated to 2 G-hz, and only pass the DC on one side. Then you must match exactly the Ports on the SW-64 switch, i.e. each split signal goes to matching ports 1A, 1A; 1B, 1B etc. then from the out- on the 64 to each of up-to 8 receivers ( I guess you can go to more switches and add 4 more receivers for each SW-64 that you add.)
The kicker to all this is that Dish only allows 6 (at least last I heard) receivers per account. Which means that with rec. #7 you have to open another account with the same address and start paying the entire subscription rate, not just the $5 per rec.
If you have the space and the $$$ You can use the Pro-Head-End type of equipment and then run each into a separate SW-64 Blonder-Tounger makes 2x16 Multiswitches, for Hotel cable systems and the like.
