It doesn't matter, as long as you can select that input .You can use tape monitor. Also you can get an optical splitter from radio shack and split the input to the nad , as long as you only have one on at a time you can use 2 optical (tosh) cables.(one to each source)That way you get the best sound. And lose the analog cables.
