Can anybody give me a rough idea of what I'd pay for a simple Crestron STS system with a color touchpad (Doesn't have to be wireless) that would only have to operate my theater components. I started out with a Pronto Pro, but the components have grown so much that I just need a bigger control system. My components are:
Kenwood Sovereign receiver Kenwood Sovereign DVD Changer (2 more will probably be added for audio CD's) Kenwood Sovereign Entre hub Scientific Atlanta 2100HD cable box Panasonic Showstopper JVC S-VHS VCR Kenwood MiniDisc Sanyo PLV-60 LCD Projector
There's no need for a lighting interface nor a motorized screen I just need it to control the components with some simplicity to it for my wife's sake. I built and installed everything myself and made provisions for cable pulling to the seating area (I was thinking ahead) and to the projector. I have done some reseach on the STS system and think that's the one I want. I'm just hoping to hear from either someone who has it installed in their theater and knows what they paid for it, also how much they like it. Or from an installer who sells and installs them and can tell me what it would involve and how much it would cost me. Thank you for any info you can give me.
