i've used the AudioPlex plasma-proof with much success on Sony, Runco, and Fujitsu plasmas. Several problems I've had were:
-IR system not passing some high frequency ir codes (scientific atlanta digital cable box)
-Had one install where it would not pass RCA DTC-100 codes for some reason. On that install I was able to put a niles ms-2 on the back of the plasma and use the AP stealth and everyone was happy.
AudioPlex makes a "Niles compatible" version also.
