I wouldn't mind one of those setups Matt. But does it really make sense (and will it actually do it) to use it to convert HD component to Firewire?
I don't believe the DH30000 even HAS component inputs. I think it's just outputs. There's so many stupid formats out there...you gotta be careful and test everything first.
