I know Elan offers an IR emitter with 2 mini plugs at the end for controlling 1 device from 2 systems. We have used them and they work fine. It is probably OEM'd by Xantech or one of the other IR biggies. If 2 inputs to one emitter work without diodes, 3 might be fine. It's easy enough to try.
