It’s Friday night! Most ELAN installers are out spending all the money they made during the week. Most of them should be up and about by Monday.

Seriously, as John stated, there were some issues with the programming tools in the past. These issues have been addressed in the current generation and is proving to be a very stable platform.

The VIA! Touch Panel was designed for easy of use for the end-users and (what most manufacturers forget) the INSTALLERS. From an installer’s point of view, being able to install a product quickly is very important, maybe even more important than having an endless number of complicated features.

Again, this is from the point of view of an installer that is trying to run a successful business. Keep in mind that this is an installer orientated forum. I’m sure there are other points of views which may call for endless number of complicated features.
