Just want to alert you guys to a real strange one. I had a dinky link that kept blinking, with no apparent source of IR in the room. During the search for the source of the problem, I found that it was cured by placing two layers of BLUE ! ! ! painter's tape over the sensor window. All worked well.
Incidentally, the Sony two-tuner TiVo responded to about 75% of the commands sent to it before and after the blue tape. Never found the source of that problem!
