Don't know about the new hawg, but I broke a new one a couple years ago drilling through a joist that had some concealed structural steel. I was using a 1" GreenLee nail eater and it pulled me off my ladder in about the last 3" and my finger go squeezed so hard that it pushed the switch into the handle, and my finger bled from the edges like a smashed grape. I had to pull myself up by the handle, yank the cord out with my other hand (it was running at a stop because I was holding the switch so well). Then I was able to wiggle out and drop down. Had to run out and get another new hawg the next day.

I was pretty amazed myself.. Is there a thread for installer injuries?... I have a few good ones...
