Thanks guys for all of the suggestions. It really helps to have your support. After considering all of the solutions, we were able to upgrade the client from a Pronto to a Marantz RC9200 and use the RF control.

With all of the wiring (shielded) installed already and the room virtually ready for turnover, the client OK'd the upgrade to keep his new sign.

Now, we have to learn about 9200's for the first time.
