I have setup a system with 6 zones using Xantech products and have been very happy with it. Currently, all zones are set to the same code group add I use replication to program all my keypads off of one when I make a change. This works great, except now I want to add an RF remote control (I have IR in only 2 zones currently) that will control all my equipment from anywhere in the house. Since all zones are configured with the same code group, I can't do anything with the RF remote in terms of power other than turn all zones on or off. If I change the code groups, I can control each zone via remote separately, but I lose the ability to replicate my programming (or complicate it). I am sure there are other pros/cons. Any comments?
