The unit in question is a satellite receiver. Everything else has discrete on/off codes. I'm using a pronto to control everything. There is a Xantech IR repeater setup to allow things to be operated behind closed doors.

I realize the easy solution is to just leave the receiver on, but it will inevitably get shut off, and confuse the hell out of the person who is just used to it "working".
