Believe this though. I have seen the results of 4x3 burn in on a F****** plasma. You will end up with shadow bars on the side. How long before, don't know, customer had set for a year watching satellite in 4x3 and only a few dvds in widescreen. Alledgedly I have heard you can run a white screen for a number of hours? to try and even the picture but how that will affect longevity is anyones guess.
