I cannot find discrete codes for the infocus for on/off

most infocuses don't have them

I do not want to trigger the projector outlet as that will shut down the fan as well.

just read the other day that the cooling after the projector is off is there so that the Projector can cool faster and therefore can be restarted faster. And that for the bulb it is better to cool without the fan (it was posted by one of the engineers at a company that builds projectors in one of the AVScience forums).

P.S. I think he said that if left without power, the lamp should be cool enough after 1/2 hour, but not sure.
