If this is the PT-AE100 projector, I may have a solution for pseudo discrete ON/OFF.
For ON use only one "learned IR code"
For OFF repeat it once more without any delay inbetween.
The way to create a second code is by pressing edit code and then just copy your code close that window and press add IR code and edit then paste the code.
Works great for my PT-AE100
Please send me a copy if you find out the discrete code for the input signal
