Also, most manufacturers' center channel speakers are inferior to their mains lineup. There are some noteable exceptions. (B&W LCR600, Monitor Gold Ref Center, etc...) Most always must have a sub or 2 with these setups... you can't use a pair of large mains and bass management like you typically could. d'Appolito does have some phase issues, but for theater, seems to be inconsequential... in fact, I'd rather have the bass reinforcement from a couple of drivers to get some dynamic range over a non-existent imaging decay problem. Especiallly since you are going to be placing these speakers in a cabinet, there should be no appreciable difference between an LCR and a traditional monitor in sound quality.
