How is this when near a plasma? I have a system with a flaky IR repeater; the Xantech pickup just sits there flashing, no matter where I put it, even several feet away from the plasma.
I do not get clearly from the illustrations: does the IR sensor only pick up signals from its side, so it has to be mounted the long way (sidewys on the surface), or can you bore a hole from the back of a cabinet and slip it in so that only about a 3/8" hole shows?
