from last
few weeks i'm ginong through lot of ir problems.
i use audioplex for plasmas, it used to work great.
one day audioplex tried to made there product
better and messed it up

big time. now it's constant test between me and
audioplex, thet send me a unit after unit to try.
after few tries now i got some jobs done. in
the mean time i used speakercraft ir stuff, it's
a best looking ir stuff i've ever seen. very well
desinged and work good too it's not 100% plasma
proof but i was able to get the results by changing
the eye locations. speakercraft emitter are the
best emitters, come with lock in holder. holder
stays at the device and you can take the emitter
on and off without the sticky glue problem. guys
that holder stays.... on the device eye.

we all know that crestron
has independent ir output ports so you can not
inject an ir noise into the crestron unit that
can create problems for the rest of the emitters,
but still why to take chance. why to cut, splice, solder, diode, ect.
Don't get me wrong i use
crazy stuff to get me job done relays diodes sensors
triggers solder you name it i do this kind mostly
to use one pair of speaker with two system, drop
down screen or for a unit that has a hard power
button, ect

Too bad to hear about Audioplex, wonder what's going on. But that IR holder is a great idea....
