Yes, it will pass all DVI signals. Having HDCP insures future compatibility, though recent rulings have made this less of an issue. HDCP is a two-way street. The source device triggers it in the display. If the 'handshake' is completed, everything's cool. If there's no HDCP in the source device, it's just like any other DVI input by the display.
