Check with the specification of the manufacturer, It will tell you where the screen needs to be located, with respect to distance back (deep) from the screen as well as weather or not it should line up with the center of the screen or for example with Yamaha Projectors you have to line up with in the top or bottom 6" (not exact figure but to that respect).
