The xbox controllers are just a usb cable with larger connections to create a proprietary connection. cut a usb cable and see how many wires. you could then run that cabling. splice with premade ends etc... The other option is depending on how far you need to run. If no farther then 20 ft or so you can just by some xbox controller extension cables that you could pre-wire one end plugs into the end that plugs into the xbox. If you look at a controller there is a small din plug where the controller side breaks from the box connection side so if you pull the controller to hard it breaks the connection instead of pulling the whole unit forward. I can get you more information on this if needed. I have been tinkering with this for a while with diffrent gaming units and controllers. Even been messing with using rf joysticks with multiple rf gateways throughout house for ultimate connectivity in different rooms in a house with modulated video picture from game unit.
