My father has developed macular degeneration resulting in the loss of most of his vision. He is 80. However he manages to spend his days enjoying sports on television. (A blessing for Mom.)

Just at the wrong time he will acidentally push the Menu button and then his puushing buttons gets the settings and picture for the TV out of wack. This is very frustrating as he must ask someone to fix it for him. My mom is technically challenged so he inevitably has to wait for one of his family members to come over.

Because of his limited capacity to see the various buttons of a remote, I have been searching for a universal remote that just has a set of basic controls for his TV. Power, Volume, CH up/down, Mute, and the number pad. Lighted pads don't solve the problem as he can't see them well enough to figure them out, so something basic is the way to go.

He has a Toshiba FST BLACK 32A43.

Is there such a simple remote?

Thanks for your help!
