There is no problem mounting the plasma at a 45 degree angle. Usually when you have to do that it means it is up high and will be difficult to clean the dust off the fans though. Does it really need to be at a 45 degree angle though? Can you come up with another mounting solution or is it so high up that your client needs that angle?
