In order to become a Crestron dealer he would typically need to have been in business for a while and have a history that shows he could sell Crestron projects. One potential project usually won't do it. You need to understand this from Crestrons viewpoint - they get calls all day every day from dealers that want to sign on - many because they have ONE job they know they could sell.
If I were your friend I would certainly call them, but it sounds like he may need to partner up with another dealer.
