Along this topic, I have a similar question:
A friend of mine would like to get his 'feet wet' with a crestron system on a job he is bidding. He is primarily an electrician, but has recently changed careers after many years as an embedded hardware/software engineer (C, C++, ASM, ASICs, etc). I know he can learn Crestron programming quickly, but my question is this - Not having an existing account with Crestron, nor any experience with Crestron, how quickly do you think he can become a dealer, and given his background, how quickly can he learn the programming. It's not a money question, as the client is building a 14K sq ft house with amenities, just a timing question.
Any recommendations on who to call. I called the local rep who has not returned my call after two days.
Thanks,
-LNB
