Yeah - cause ATI is still in business. And for Asus, they make some of the best video cards out there. The 9600XT is only acceptable for gaming and by no means capable of full blown 1200x1600 HL2. Asus motherboards are typically great except for the kv8 deluxe that had bad caps. And AVDUDE AMD doesn't by any means suck. For gaming AMD is better. I am typing this on a custom P3.06 that I would trade in a second for a AMD64 - or even a 2500 for that matter.
