I am using this device
[Link: alcorn.com] to control another device via a serial cable. The idea is to program an html interface which is housed on the WEBster via amemory card that can send commands to the device I am using via a serial cable.
Clear this up:
Connect to WEBster through LAN-WAN and give it commands to the other device through the html page which in turn send these commands via serial to the device controling the dvd-vcr.
I need something that can capture the commands from my computer to the other device and tell me what those hex codes are. SO I can program them into the html page.
I have a program that came with the device that I can use to control it if I hook it up directly to my computer. It works fine, just need to know what those hex codes are.
Does anyone know of an inline device that can read those codes and disply them?
