Stupid problem that i just can't seem to solve...my brain is cooked.
have 1080i component video out of HD DVR box (SA8000HD) Have 480p compoent video out of DVD (Onk 501)
Both are running/switched via on Onkyo txsr601....this then connects to an LCD in a kitchen that is not progressive scan, and does not accempt the inputs from the above, by the way, there's only one component input....I would run thiese on composite vid but the cable box outputs only in 1080i on component vid. All other outputs, DVI, composite, even RF are disabled by Cox.
Anyone have a magic component to composite/s-vid adapter??? Some other magic cure....Inexpensive scaler??? RF modulator that takes component video??? something that converts compoenent to vga???
Very frustrated and can no longer stand looking and google hits...any ideas, even the most outlandish would be of great assistance.
HELP

I'm Not an engineer, but I play one on TV. My handle is Tweety but I have nothing to do with the organization of similar name. I just had a really big head as a child so folks called me tweety bird.
