I've used these for sometime now and we generally use shift tier on the dvd functions by having the cursor commands on teir one (as the dvd menu is generally the first thing you have to navigate) then put shift tier two under the volume commands to switch to transport commands. The n we use the enter button to revert back to tier one.
Fantastic remotes but we do have to give written driving instructions but once our customers grasp the basics they wouldn't be without them.
Use them in conjuction with xantech's mac 1 and you can acheive almost anything.
