We have been doing a lot of sony plasma installs where the tv is mounted on the wall and the cables are run in-wall from behind the tv down to a few inches from ground(or behind a cabinet). The problem is that the sony plasmas use their dual cable with dvi and separate sound cable. When installing these tvs with these cables, what do you installers use to finish the opening where the cable enters and exits the wall, if it is drywall. We have been using a hole saw and 2" plastic grommets from home depot which are just big enough to fit the connectors through and then glue then into the drywall. Do you guys have any other better ways of doing this? We haven't found any good wall plates that this would work with that can fit the connectors through and still screw into a j-box or mud ring.

Any help would be appreciated. We just want to have a clean and easy way to do this since terminating these cables in-wall doesn't seem practical. It would be great if you guys could let us know how you take care of this sort of install.

Thanks!
