Ok, so I
1. switched back to the Xantech power supply. I measured the voltage output and it is 12.01 V, so it looks right on.

2. tried to move the emitter around on my receiver (which is the piece I'm using for testing) and had no luck. However, I tried another piece of equipment (Tivo) and it worked just fine! So, I tried the rest (cable box, DVD, HD box, media center PC) and they all work fine.

The only piece I can not get to work is my Panasonic XR-25 receiver. I did try another emitter with it and have tried moving the emitter around to different locations on the face, but have not had any luck with getting it to work. I'm making progress, but without the receiver, I still can't control my system. You've gotten me this far, so any other suggestions? Thanks!
