Overall I think the current GM offering has more power, better mileage and a significantly better chassis than the Ford. Unless Ford has done a redesign in the past year or so that I'm unaware of. In terms of steering and stability Ford has had a few issues, often relating to the fact that they insisted on keeping the twin I beam front end thirty years after everyone else gave up on it.
