TV on, Cable box off. Press and Hold Info and Guide on the front of the unit. Then follow on screen to set all supported resolutions.

Then hope and pray and go into the regular menu using the remote and hope you find a passthrough setting. Some cable operators have it available, others dont. If they dont, you're going to have to stretch the SD stuff in the cable box.
