I've done a few funeral homes (all for the same company) in the last few years, and it has been a bit strange sometimes. Of course the people who work there are more than a little strange, so I guess it's to be expected.

When I first met the gentleman who ran the show I was shocked when he gave me the okay for the job, then immediately paid in full, up front, with 33K cash....And yes, I mean a bunch of $100.00 bills. A big pile of them!

It was multiple cameras, wireless mikes, distributed audio and recording equipment.

The main idea was to be able to record a funeral to VHS, with multiple microphones for the bereaved to pass around the room, so they could all have their comments recorded for history. In addition, there were multiple microphones for the possibility of recodring "barbershop quartets" who would be singing the praises....

And then there were the covert cameras required to prevent theft.

Sounds wierd, but this man apparently got very wealthy with this dog and pony show thing.....
