if you use the following commands then you can have discrete input selection

1) press anynet

2) press select (anynet displays options but "watch tv" is always on top

3) press source, repeating this until you get the input you want (this will always switch to the first video input connected to tv
ie: component or video 1 ) if a video input is not connected to tv the source button will skip over it
you should use 1 to 1.5 second delays between these commands
I hope this helps you this is my first post .
by selecting the anynet feature, even though the anynet is not setup you can always get the dlp set to a "known state" such as tv or ant 1 input

so anynet then select will always get you to the tv input ant 1
